  • Hair: White. Short,thick,and messy. Frozen. Visible flecks of frost and ice.
  • Facial Hair: Full,thick beard. Kept short. Frozen. Visible flecks of frost and ice.
  • Eyes: Icy blue,bright,solid glow.
  • Distinguishing Features: Severe frostbite at ears,toes,and fingers. Scars left by frequent skin cracking around lips,nose,and tear ducts. Stitched-shut wound on left temple; Combat wound during capture. Natural body temperature hovers at -15 degrees Celsius; Exhales puffs of condensed air. Pale blue flesh.
  • Posture: Tall and proud; Further evidence of a life as a soldier or athlete.
  • Mannerisms: Constantly watching or examining. Right hand often drifts to chin or left side of waist. Abandons current activities to look at/for source of sudden sounds.
  • Personality: "Snow" appears to be a social creature; It constantly attempts conversation with fellow inmates,as well as guards and handlers,on occasion. It seems to possess some degree of paranoia,as it is constantly examining its surroundings,or individual subjects,and will always prioritise the identification of a sudden sound over most other things. It reacts to sudden movements in its presence with defensive martial arts manoeuvres,seemingly out of reflex and muscle memory. It responds vocally,and negatively,to any form of discrimination,as well as any insult to it,and those it formed positive relations with. During the capture,it has displayed an unwillingness to non-fatally incapacitate hostiles,instead opting for quick,efficient kills.

  • High capacity backpack,Canadian Armed Forces issue,one: A large fabric backpack with a rigid aluminium pipe frame,with modular pouch mounts. Bears the markings of the Canadian Armed Forces,most notably the maple leaf,as well as Arctic CADPAT camouflage.
  • Sleeping bag,one: A common sleeping bag that a civilian would be able to find in a sporting goods shop in the Old World. White in colour.
  • Ballistic assault armour,Canadian Armed Forces issue,one set: A full suit of ballistic assault armour,in Arctic CADPAT,including a matching combat uniform (Shirt,jacket,trousers,boots),a heavy ballistic vest,tactical webbing,pistol belt,hand-made ballistic armguards and pauldrons,handmade ballistic greaves and legguards,and a ballistic helmet with attached gas mask.
  • Sword scabbard,five feet six inches,one: A scabbard for a two handed sword,and a matching belt. Grey-dyed,leather-wrapped resin,with plain steel fixings. Notably well maintained.
  • Sword,six feet six inches,one: A two handed sword,with a total length of six and a half feet,the blade consisting five and a half of those feet. The weapon obeys a European cruciform design,with a double-edged blade with a distil taper,coming to a fine,thrusting point. The guard consists of a straight,coiled bar of steel,and a nagel on one flat of the hilt. Spherical,screw-on pommel. Unembellished design. Leather-wrapped hilt,dyed grey. Notably well maintained.
  • Stone,one: A smooth stone,large enough to fit comfortably in the creature's hand. Likely used to sharpen its sword.
  • Oil & rag,one set: Off-yellow oil and a rag,likely used in the maintenance of the sword.
  • Bloodstained rag,one: A separate rag,stained with blood and other fluids. Obviously used to clean the sword.
  • Sidearm,one: A handgun,chambered in caseless high calibre ammunition. Was not used during capture.
  • Handgun magazine,six: Six magazines,designed for use with the confiscated sidearm. Holds 25 caseless rounds,each.
  • Book,one: Titled,The Black Prism,by Brent Weeks. Excellent condition. Warden's note: Bring the book to me after cataloguing it; I've been itching for a good read for weeks,now.
  • First-aid kit,one: A complete first-aid kit,with enough materials to dress nearly any injury,and even perform minor field surgery,without anaesthetic.

• Observed Abilities

  • Swordsmanship: The subject has displayed mastery in the use of its sword,capable of parrying or blocking most of the capture team's melee strikes,and striking expertly where armour was thinnest. Held the weapon by the blade for much of the engagement,striking with the guard,hilt,and pommel.
  • Martial arts: The subject was briefly disarmed during the capture,whereupon it displayed aptitude for unarmed combat,though most of its manoeuvres were defensive or reactive in nature,and it prioritised rearming itself with its sword; It is unknown as to why it failed to draw its sidearm.
  • Agility: Despite the heavy armour and backpack,the subject was able to deftly manoeuvre during combat,almost as if it were dancing.
  • Strength: The subject is stronger than apparent,having been able to bodily throw power armoured ZPCI troops with a single hand with enough force to send them dozens of feet.
  • Stealth: The subject knows how to be stealthy,as it had operated within fifteen kilometres of the outpost before capture,avoiding detection the entire time. It was only captured when a routine patrol stumbled upon the subject.
  • Endothermic abilities: The subject appears to be in an advanced state of mutation,as it has developed the ability to drain heat from a target,or area; Surviving capture team members were treated for severe hypothermia after capture.
  • Ice-forming abilities: Another product of the subject's advanced mutation; The subject appears to be able to create small structures of ice within extreme proximity of itself,having pelted the capture team's riflemen with ice spikes.

• Capture Report

  At 0100 hours,the team left base for standard nighttime patrol.
  
  Until 0312 hours,patrol had been without incident.
  
  At 0312 hours,patrol sighted a lone figure on a nearby hill,apparently making haste to put it between itself and the team. Patrol team rifleman identified the figure through her scope as humanoid,wearing old world military equipment. The patrol radioed it in,and pursued.
  
  At 0315 hours,the patrol team caught up with the figure,which was now facing them,having drawn its sword. The figure assumed a low guard stance,holding the weapon at a slight downward angle,at waist level. Its glowing eyes were visible behind its visor,identifying it as a zombie. Patrol team engaged,radioing it in.
  
  At 0317 hours,the patrol team successfully subdued the zombie,after managing to remove its helmet,and striking it over the head with the buttstock of a rifle. The patrol team secured the zombie,radioed it in,and returned to base.

• Interrogation Report

  The subject is brought into the interrogation chamber,bound to a gurney. It regards the room with scrutiny as its wheeled in,glowing blue eyes squinting as it scrutinises. The subject is brought to a halt in front of a desk,with the interrogator,Captain Jesse Hunt,sat opposite.
  
  Cpt. Hunt: Gestures to the subject,addressing the two armed escorts,"You say this one can talk?"
  Cpl. Roth: Nods,"Yessir. It demanded--"
  Cpt. Hunt: Holds up his hand,interrupting,"I don't need the details."Turns to regard the subject,"Do you have a name for yourself?"
  Subject: Scoffs,and nods,"Yes. My name is Snow."
  Cpt. Hunt: Nods,and steeples fingers,"Are you aware that you were within fifteen kilometres of a Zombie Pest Control,Incorporated base,Snow?"
  Snow: Laughs,once,"Yeah."
  Cpt. Hunt: Raises an eyebrow,"Then why were you so close?"
  Snow: Shrugs,"Passing through."
  Cpt. Hunt: Gestures with hand to continue,"To?"
  Snow: Snorts,"Wherever. I drift. Sorta like snow."
  Cpt. Hunt: Frowns,"I see. Were you alone?"
  Snow: Clicks tongue,"We both know that a 'No' to that's going to be met with suspicion."
  Cpl. Roth: Presses muzzle of carbine to Snow's temple,"Give him a straight answer,meatloaf."
  Snow: Laughs openly,"Shoot me,if you have the balls. If you wanted me dead,you would've killed me on the hill. You guys need me alive for something. What for?"
  Cpt. Hunt: Stands,gestures for Cpl. Roth to stand down,"This interrogation is over. Take it to Warden DuGalle.
  Cpl. Roth: Stands down,salutes Cpt. Hunt,"Yessir!"
  
  Cpl. Roth and Pvt. Ackerman wheel Snow out of the interrogation room.
